About Me

My name is Scott Walker, and together with my wife and our little boy Ruaridh we own Photo Studio Ayr Ltd.

I have a real passion for photographing families and children and it shows when you see me in action. Being a father myself I know all the tricks to get the beautiful, natural, funny photos you see here on my website. All I ask is that you don’t laugh at me, but with me when I’m making a fool of myself, trying to get your kids to smile.

I first got into photography when I was just a boy after my Grandpa gave me a SupaSnaps 35mm fun camera. My Grandpa was always taking pictures when I was younger and looking back I think that was what got me interested in photography and I’m sure he is looking down on me with a big proud smile.

I have worked in the Photographic industry since leaving school in 1999 and have self taught myself everything I know today. After getting married in 2007 my wife and I moved to Ayrshire and I started managing the Photo Studio before buying the business in 2010. I re-branding under a new company name and now I am proud to own one of the most popular photographic studios in Ayrshire.
